Ngaio Parr leads her independent studio as a designer, art director, and illustrator. The studio collaborates on a range of work including publication design, illustration, art direction, curation, set & space design, visual identity, and other printed matter. Select clients include The New York Times, Thames & Hudson, Red Bull, Penguin, Ban.do, Buzzfeed, Hachette, Disney, HP, Leanne Ford, Secret 7 and Adobe. Ngaio Parr founded her eponymous studio in 2014. She studied Fine Arts at QUT, and Design at QCA and RISD. In addition to her work in the studio , she is the founder and director of Make Nice, a platform for creative women that provides a supportive community, inclusive spaces (physical and virtual), practical industry advice, and showcases talent. Ngaio has taught design at the University of Technology Sydney since 2015, and is a contributor to Women Of Graphic Design. She speaks regularly at conferences and institutions around the world about her work and the power of women - among them Creative Mornings, Adobe Make It, and Vivid Ideas; and often curates events, panels, and exhibitions for these same communities.
