For this extraordinary year only, we have adapted our voting method so our ABDA members are able to vote for the Designers’ Choice awards online in the lead up to the 2020 online awards broadcast.
The Designers’ Choice Awards are voted by our Professional Individual Members and will be announced at the time of the ceremony. The Designers’ Choice awards have come to be highly prized by their receivers as recognition from their peers.
INSTRUCTIONS
Voting opens: 10am, Wednesday 17 June 2020
Voting closes: 10pm, Tuesday 23 June 2020
You may vote only once.
Please see our list below and choose one title from each category to vote on the recipients of the following Designers’ Choice awards:
- Cover of the Year
- Book of the Year
- Children’s/Young Adult Cover of the Year
- Children’s/Young Adult Book of the Year
All 64 shortlisted titles are represented across the 4 categories, excluding Student Work which is only judged by the official judging panel.
The Designer’s Choice award categories are for Book and Cover. Titles shortlisted in ‘book’ categories (Best Illustrated Book under $50, etc) are eligible in the Book of the year award. While the ‘cover’ categories (Best designer literary cover, etc) are eligible for the Cover of the Year.
