Introductory paragraph.
This could perhaps reference that fact that having visited Japan (or wanting to) seems to be the one common trait that unites our members more than anything else.

The Tokyo suburb Jimbocho boasts over 180 second-hand bookshops. Aside from beautiful Japanese books and scrolls, many of the shops sell woodblock prints and illustrated pages from old books which are significantly more quirky than the ones found in tourist shops and street markets. There are also contemporary bookshops, restaurants and cafes, so you can make a whole day of it. Jimbocho is part of an international network of Book Towns which feature a concentration of second-hand and antiquarian booksellers and hold an annual festival where booksellers line the streets – Jimbocho’s is in late October.
