Allen & Unwin is looking to appoint a very experienced senior designer to join its in-house design department in Crows Nest, Sydney.
The successful applicant must have previous book cover design experience and be able to take a brief from concept through to finished art. They will also supervise the Junior Designer.
Allen & Unwin are looking for a self-motivated designer with some managerial experience, strong communication skills, excellent time management abilities, exceptional attention to detail and a passion for both books and design.
Advanced skills in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat and file management are essential. The company is looking for a creative individual who is versatile in their design approach and capable of working to tight deadlines.
