Phil has been designing books, amongst other things, for over 20 years. He worked previously as a designer for Text Media and EmeryStudio and spent time as a sessional lecturer in Communications design at RMIT. His work focuses mainly on non-fiction covers and illustrated book designs. His cover designs include a range of non-fiction genres such as biography, current affairs, politics, history and music. His illustrated book designs include titles on history, art, architecture, rural communities and popular music. As well as designing books for leading publishers, he also enjoys working with self publishing authors.
