I have been designing books for over thirty years, (with twelve of those in-house at Penguin Australia). I’ve been freelance since 2006 and work for many large and small publishers world-wide, as well as directly with authors and self-publishers. I design across several genres but mostly focus on literary and commercial fiction and non-fiction.
I have been a regular guest-speaker and panelist at literary festivals, a judge for national illustration and book design awards and a founding committee member of Australian Book Designers’ Association.I love reading and words!
