-
The design features the classic serif typeface Caslon, set elegantly against ink illustrations (drawn by Robin Cowcher) to represent the hero ingredients of each chapter. The restrained composition of the layout let the minimalist styling of the photography breathe, creating the same sense of sophistication of Mark’s Sydney restaurant. The title is set large and authoritatively, and a black and white colour palette is used to enhance the instantly classic tone of the book. To give a sense of quality we used black linen wibalin for the bottom half of the cover, with an elegant copper foil of the ingredients.
