ABDA exists to support present and future Australian book designers – to promote their work to, and connect with, the broader publishing community.

Fees
Annual individual Friends of ABDA membership costs $65
In an inclusive approach, the Friends of ABDA membership category has been created to embrace our fellow professional book collaborators who aren’t book creatives (editors, publishers, authors etc.) as well as the wider creative community (photographers, illustrators, graphic designers, art directors etc.) whose body of work is no based in the Australian Book Publishing industry.
With Friends of ABDA we aim to continue nurturing the relationship between book designers and their colleagues. By joining Friends of ABDA, people from the entire publishing industry can celebrate and support the wealth of design talent we represent, while also benefiting from ABDA’s resources and programs.
