View profile- Design Rationale
-
This series required a design appropriate for a variety of subjects (Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Psychology) across year 11 and 12. The geometry of the design reflects the rationality and structure of subject matters with flexibility for different types of artworks required (from images of microscopic cells to complex diagrams and instructional photographs). It was imperative that, aside from having to appeal to both students and teachers, all covers are distinctive yet still easily recognised as part of a suite. The internals utilise a modular design that allows different breakout features to be included without disrupting text flow.
