Brindabella is a beautiful story about friendship and the raw truth of the Australian bush. I wanted to capture the essence of Australia and the bush in the text, so included elements of native plants and kangaroos throughout the internal design. The illustrations of Andrew Joyner, in a rough sketchy tone, compliment this design. We chose to print the text in a sepia coloured PMS ink to remind us again of the Australian bush and the cover is printed on a reverse stock to emphasise the rawness of the story.
