-
This series of Australian poetry books are published ad hoc, as they are ready; designing a series look without knowing what’s in the series is intimidating. The publisher asked for ‘big, bold typography with infographic-style illustrations’. I set myself two constraints: using only Bembo and creating cyanotype-style illustrations. Cyanotype is a printing process used to produce copies of drawings or images that are a shadow of the original. The authors all supplied significant objects that appear in their collection – these images are not summaries of the work but a kind of shadow of it.
