- Design Rationale
-
The artist stipulated that her work Right/Wrong, a tapestry of word definitions, be featured on the cover. Therefore, I used dictionaries, encyclopaedias and archival material as inspiration. Text pages are off-white, dense, with little white space and multiple greyscale images, this allowed us to show process images and works not in the show. The font is Reckless, a contemporary typeface with an old-style look. Blue inserts were used to tie in the cover artwork and red because the colour features heavily in the artwork. The cover was printed on textured paper to give the feel of cloth.
