About the Designer
Maree Coote is a writer, illustrator, typographer, photographer and publisher. For this she blames the over-stimulation of a successful, award-winning career in advertising. The Letter Art device is one I have been developing since 2102. Each dog portrait is made from letters, and only those letters that spell each dog’s name.
The letters are selected from fonts available in a standard Mac font library, and no letters are hand-drawn or purpose-made.
