This is a very unique novel – Jeremy Gavron has created a story made out of lines taken from a hundred great works of literature. The title is Latin and its translation is ‘Happy Fall’. The story follows a writer who is on the trail of a boy recently released from prison, but in searching for the boy’s story he loses the narrative of his how life and falls into someone else’s. To reflect this storyline and the title, I created the motif of the man falling.
