Design Rationale

The brief was to elevate the perception of paper flowers to an art form via craftsmanship. Therefore the approach was to not only create a design that was functional and practical, but also aesthetically as beautiful as the flower creations highlighted within. Using a matt finished flexi-bound cover, the cover feels soft and luxe, with embossed finishes on the ornate typographic treatment. The internal design is deliberately light touch and delicate, to sit harmoniously with the vibrant and colourful imagery. The layout is clear and orderly, to enable the reader to follow the instructions easily.
