Gelato Messina is an iconic Sydney experience. The queue on a Saturday night is as lively as that outside any reputable night spot, the music is loud and the punters opinionated. Regulars have their favourite flavours or look out for daring oddities to try. The book design needed to reflect all of this, balancing the complex technical precision of the recipes. Gelato Messina incorporates all of this with Billy Lawís lively photography and Jeremyville’s kooky illustrations tied together with layer upon layer of colourful patterning and a bronze foil stamp highlighting whatís become a quintessential hipster brand.
