About the Designer
Evi O. established her reputation for a strong design aesthetic and collaborative spirit during a decade at Penguin Books, most notably creating award-winning illustrated books in the fields of food, design, interiors, architecture, art, garden and wellness. Her art and design practice ranges across 2D and 3D forms, print and digital, having collaborated with book and magazine publishers, homeware labels, and brands. She practices from her Marrickville studio in Sydney. She is a founding member of ABDA.

For George Calombariss seventh book, the challenge was to create excitement and a unique look. Steering away from the cliched blue-and-white Greek stereotype, the designer drew inspiration from Georgess love of street art and his restaurant design instead. This inspiration is carried throughout the photography, styling and original hand-generated typography and illustrations, resulting in an original look for this title and the authorss brand. A playful sheet of stickers ad create your own meals endpapers are included, adding interactivity to this tactile package. The cover features an embossed giant lemon, giving a taste of explosions from the internals.
