-
How To Make Friends With The Dark is a powerful and heartbreaking novel about loss and grief. But it’s also about resilience, healing and letting light in. Mark Campbell briefed me to create a typographic cover with a similar emotional feel to my design for the author’s previous book, Girl in Pieces. And after reading the book I was keen to try to create type that somehow played with light and shadows, and for it to feel moody, but also a bit cosmic and magical. The cover is printed with matt lamination with bronze foil and spot UV.
