About the Designer
Evi O. established her reputation for a strong design aesthetic and collaborative spirit during a decade at Penguin Books, most notably creating award-winning illustrated books in the fields of food, design, interiors, architecture, art, garden and wellness. Her art and design practice ranges across 2D and 3D forms, print and digital, having collaborated with book and magazine publishers, homeware labels, and brands. She practices from her Marrickville studio in Sydney. She is a founding member of ABDA.

For Islas, the designers have not shied from visual expression. The free-spirited vibe of hot Spanish days are conveyed through illustrations, photography and typography. The photography embodies beauty, the abstract illustrations depict icons and vibe of the location, and the typography gels all the elements into one united direction. The graphic cover is a vibrant package, and a solution to summarise all the many types of text and visual narratives inside the publication. Production-wise, the package relies on debasing and gold-foiling
