About the Designer
Evi O. established her reputation for a strong design aesthetic and collaborative spirit during a decade at Penguin Books, most notably creating award-winning illustrated books in the fields of food, design, interiors, architecture, art, garden and wellness. Her art and design practice ranges across 2D and 3D forms, print and digital, having collaborated with book and magazine publishers, homeware labels, and brands. She practices from her Marrickville studio in Sydney. She is a founding member of ABDA.

With minimal bold typography and blind-debossing, the series design creates a centre stage for each artist’s artwork to feature on the front cover. Choosing one of the most iconic’s work of each artist, the designer and publisher hope curiosity and familiarity make this package jump on the shelves. The internals are fittingly contemporary with artworks dominating spreads. Utilising metallic ink, it creates continuity between titles through materials, yet a distinct personality should a title stand alone. For the layout, a collection of double page spreads, detail crops & generous white space allows the artwork take take centre stage.
