My Dog Doesn’t Like Me is a beautifully told story that resonates with kids, parents and pet lovers. I wanted to illustrate the relationship between Eric and his new dog Ugly. I created the characters in a bold, graphic style with vibrant and contrasting colours. The typography is child like and easy to read. Ugly was modelled on my own pet pooch Alfie. The typeface and illustrations were also utilised in the internal pages.
