About the Designer
Evi O. established her reputation for a strong design aesthetic and collaborative spirit during a decade at Penguin Books, most notably creating award-winning illustrated books in the fields of food, design, interiors, architecture, art, garden and wellness. Her art and design practice ranges across 2D and 3D forms, print and digital, having collaborated with book and magazine publishers, homeware labels, and brands. She practices from her Marrickville studio in Sydney. She is a founding member of ABDA.

This rejacket is to give a new life to this well written kids series teaching about being kind to the world through stories set in a steampunk x The Jetsons world. An illustrated formula featuring the main character on middle top, location at the bottom, combined with manually crafted typography and illustrated elements that hint the stories inside create a strong series package. The cover features emboss and foil, utilising 2 Pantone colours for extra punch. The colour choices are bright, yet sophisticated. The designer had the opportunity to showcase a perfect marriage of design, illustration and typography skills.
