With its unusually large size, this book announces its presence. There is no text on the back cover ñ a deliberate choice to intrigue rather than inform. Great care was taken with the photography, to capture the detail, texture and colours of the original paintings. There are minimal embellishments. This simplicity makes the stunning artwork the focus, with no distractions, and maintains Shaunís established aesthetic: simple, elegant and understated.Cost wasnít a significant concern ñ our priority was to create a beautiful, high-quality book. As such, we took care in all aspects of design/production, including sourcing a heavier, FSC-certified paper.
