The concept behind Shannon Bennett’s London was to reimagine his series of travel guides with a more contemporary look while staying true to the classic and informative format of his previous editions. Introducing James Gulliver Hancock’s line illustrations on block colours, for the cover and openers, gives a consistent and distinctive look to the series and provides a unique interpretation of the destination compared to other travel guides. Elegantly sartorial is a good way to describe it.
