-
The second critical ‘reader’ published by the NGV, this one was made to coincide with International Women’s Day. It discusses key moments and contributions in the field of art and design by women, all drawn from the NGV collection. The design reworks the previous reader through a collective process, with six designers of diverse backgrounds. The design engages with the content in a number of ways: the colour palette came from a discussion of colours that signify feminism, the red and purple chapter dividers are made as placards based on works from the NGV collection, and set in newly-commissioned type.
