We wanted this book to stand vertically on a coffee table. Inspired by the visual statements of Seidler’s towers, we wanted it to never fall over. A reduced vertical slipcase serves as an exoskeleton and shows the man outside one of his buildings. The book itself towers out of the case and as you remove it you see his beautiful architectural drawings with his distinctive curves. Then as you open it you step into the building, and into the book. The use of Helvetica and an incredibly gridded layout echoes the modernist sensibilities that characterise Seidler: the design icon.
