-
The brief was to reimagine the original Charmaine Solomon collection as a set of elegant and beautiful books separated by regions. The concept was to use the flowers native to each region to subtly differentiate the covers, along with traditional design elements and motifs from the regions to layer authenticity. As a set, the spines connect together with a blossom branch – representing a connection between the recipes and suggesting the recipes belong in a collection. For the internals, the books are typeset using classic serif fonts and a traditional recipe style, with fabric textures throughout to add warmth.
