-
Part travel diary, part cookbook, the book transports the readers to a day in Tokyo. The design concept religiously follow the sun, with running heads and chapter openers featuring circle as a sun, rising and setting. Cover, endpapers, contents and chapter openers consistently feature the sun, which comfortably happens to be the Japanese flag. Internals feature recipe pages with rotating display typefaces for headings, reflecting that madness of Tokyo, complemented by illustrations. Various layouts are designed for breakout spreads. The cover is embellished with embossing, spot UV and special lamination. This title is a first of a series of three.
