Mirroring Unemployable’s theme of a company that has gathered together a band of misfits, the design team of Woody and Tim Daws at Sneaker Freaker, Globe’s Herb George, Dwindle’s Eric Wollam & freelancer Mike Beach faced a challenge of incorporating the multiple aesthetics of skateboarding, surf, streetwear and company history along with curating a consistent environment for multiple brands like Globe, Stüssy, Mooks and Obey. Dealing a massive volume of archival and commissioned imagery was an amazing feat. The use of high end production stocks, pre-dyed textured Wibalin and foil debossing provided an overarching ‘historical’ feel to the book.
