ABDA is pleased to announce the 71st Australian Book Design Awards are open for submissions. We can’t wait to see what you’ve all been up to!

This year we are proud to announce our support for the Independent category with free entry and we’re keeping Student entries open for the duration. Entries close Friday 23 December 2022.

The awards will be presented at an event in Sydney May 2023. More details will be announced in early 2023 – keep an eye on social media and subscribe to ABDA’s email newsletter for updates.

Entries are open in 20 categories and open to books designed and published for the first time in Australia between 1 January 2022 and 31 December 2022.
