Gemma Black is a calligrapher & lettering designer from Tasmania, Australia. She has a sound formal background in calligraphy & bookbinding and continues to push the boundaries of contemporary hand lettering design with her historical knowledge. Gemma has worked with many companies over her twenty-five years in professional practice including the Folio Society, Mindaroo and the Commonwealth Government. She also teaches throughout Australia, Europe, UK & the USA.
