Save the Date for the 2022 Annual General Meeting of the Australian Book Designers Association
As a Professional Member of ABDA, you are invited to join us for the Association’s 2022 AGM. We will be conducting the full AGM online via Zoom.
Date: Monday 12 September, 2022
Time: 5.15pm (AEST) – for a 5.30pm start
A Zoom link will be sent out the day before.
The ordinary business of the Annual General Meeting is:
(a) to receive and consider the annual report of the Committee and the financial statements for the preceding financial year;
(b) to elect the members of the Committee; and
(c) to confirm or vary the amounts of the annual subscription.
If you wish to nominate to join the committee, nomination forms must be received no later than 5pm Sunday 4 September, 2022. The nomination forms can be downloaded here.
Proxy and Absentee voting forms must be received no later than 5pm Sunday 11 September, 2022. To register your interest, email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
A Professional Individual Member of the Association may appoint another Professional Individual Member to vote on his or her behalf at the Annual General Meeting. A proxy form will be circulated once the nominations have been made, for members who cannot attend the meeting.
A Professional Individual Member of the Association may vote for committee members in advance of the meeting by filling out the Absentee Voting form (to be circulated one week prior to the AGM, with the nominee statements).
Please note: A proxy form must be submitted no later than 24 hours before the meeting if it is to take effect.
The nomination form and agenda will be available on Monday 5 September, 2022 and will be circulated in a subsequent EDM.
