Spine Magazine is Seeking Submissions
UK-based Spine Magazine is currently looking for book designs to feature in its fourth issue.
According to the magazine’s founder Emma Hardy “book cover designers have a tough job; they have to juggle author/publisher politics, understand a wide range of topics and be extremely versatile in their design approaches. One day they might be working purely with paper and pen, and other days completely digital. Cover designers deserve a magazine that celebrates the best of their discipline and keeps them up to date on developing approaches and debates – that’s exactly what Spine aims to do.”
Spine Magazine showcases the work of both professional designers and students. The deadline for submissions for issue four is Saturday 2 January 2016.
To be considered for the issue, designers should send a low-res file to firstname.lastname@example.org. If selected for inclusion in the magazine you will be contacted and asked to supply high-res images, together with a short description of your process and the concept behind the cover.
