Ex Libris is a novel with 12 chapters that can be shuffled into any order, and still be read as a cohesive story. There are nearly half a billion possible combinations. No two printed copies of this book are the same. I wanted to create a handmade cover that reflected this personalisation of the reader’s experience. I used different shapes to create each letter, echoing the pieced together nature of the novel.
