Florette is a story about imagination, so we wanted to the cover to create a gateway into that world of wonder. The wall of green wrapping around the cover is accompanied by a quiet title, giving the viewer a chance to lose themselves in the forest. The title was drawn based ​on early sketches from the illustrator. Leafy endpapers surround the story so the reader feels enclosed in a special world. Pared back colouring in the beginning of the book builds to richer, detailed scenes to gradually bring the reader into the delicate, magical place of the imagination.
