-
There were so many very beautiful and opulent shots of Frenchie interiors but as is often the case, using just one for the cover wouldn’t capture the whole book. This cover pattern was from a wallpaper detail and it manages to captures that opulent, slightly quirky French chic aesthetic. I wove the text within it and then begun the process of figuring out how to reproduce it in gold foil. The theme was continued internally by weaving text into pattern on the chapter openers and adding little embellishments here and there to tie it all together.
