Guilt is about a bunch of teenagers in the 80s so the trouble was making it not look like a YA novel but still be true to the story. I used the colouring of the book to give the older feel with the muted colour and the light leaks of an old point and shoot camera and went with quite bold hand drawn type to push the “in your face” nature of the novel.
