-
The design for Heirloom Vegetables took inspiration from antique horticulture manuals, as can be seen in the chosen typefaces and the botanical illustrations. It also helped guide the navigation which was crucial in organising the plant varieties and technical information in the book. The design also makes the most of Simon Rickard’s luscious photography, using it to both inform the reader and show the beauty of the heirloom varieties.
