Design Rationale

The brief was to create a book cover that captured a thriller chase narrative that occurs in the Antarctic. The concept was to use the bold colours that represented: white for snow, red for blood and blue for the high blue skies of the Antarctic landscape. A mountain peak sits above the title creates a sense of tension and interest. A small graphic of a person running up off the right hand side of the book is representative of the main characters desire to redeem revenge.
