I designed my 3rd recipe book with very similar intentions as my first 2. Each time I have produced a book I have been presenting ideas and recipes that would not be considered mainstream or ‘the norm’. For that reason, I found it important that the design of the book be both simple and inviting. I achieved this by creating a very clean, linear layout, easily readable with minimal text and whitespace to balance. Full bleed image spreads break up the chapters and full page, full bleed images accompany every recipe. The matt stock was chosen to compliment the natural content.
