Koalas Like to … is a humorous, rhyming picture book about the surprising antics that koalas get up to.

The cover is simple, bright and eye catching. The title typography is quirky and fun. Spot UV was used on the koala pattern background.

The internal type is in a classic font, reminiscent of 1950’s. This sits well with Brent’s illustration style. The text placement was important. It had to be positioned close to the character that was speaking. Block colour was used behind some of the illustrations and text blocks for extra contrast.
