-
The design for Little Korea was initially inspired by Korean noodle packaging. Taking cues from the brutalist style of typography and graphic treatments of this packaging, I created an eclectic visual language with a striking minimal colour palette – red, blue and pale pink, juxtaposing bold extended type with a calligraphic style, and the playful use of emojis dotted throughout. The cover is eye-catching with its striking colour combination, and confident use of the noodle bowl graphic, which ensures it stands out as a contemporary take on Korean cuisine.
