-
To commemorate 15 years of Camilla, I was asked to design a book celebrating the fashion label’s heritage and their 2019 ‘Mother’ collection. As a brand loved for embellishment and with a huge number of visual elements to wrangle (thousands of behind-the-scenes and personal photos, sketches and prints) the challenge was to keep the design immersive without overpowering the fashion photography. This meant adding layers of hand-lettering, brushstrokes (acrylic and ink), stock images and my own photography to every page and in collaged ‘scrapbooks’ for each chapter. Gold foil is a luxurious touch to the cover and final collectable package.
