For the second instalment of NGV Triennial there is a clear visual relationship with the previous volume, however a definite progression and departure indicated by design and materiality. Where previously we had 1 limp bound linen volume, I decided to wrap 5 individual volumes with a magnetised hardcover case, ostensibly casing the new offering in an old jacket – however this time hard and box-like. Once the jacket is removed 5 individual volumes sit inside separated by theme, the combined covers create the graphic ‘T2’ which I used as a versatile visual language throughout the 5 volumes.
