The publication Converging in Time was conceived by Open Spatial Workshop (OSW) to accompany the exhibition by the same name held at MUMA. The publication brought together research undertaken by OSW into Museums Victoria natural sciences collection over the past six years, together with research related to specific specimens carried out in the field. Nicknamed ‘Melway’ for its volume, scope and newsprint-like light paper, the design of the publication embraced the diversity of the material presenting an expansive directory of Victoria’s natural and man-made past. A sixteen-page colour insert is included in the plastic cover which documents the exhibition.
