Rebel Without a Clause cleverly examines how, over time, we have invented new words and phrases, mashed up idioms, mispronounced, misused and misappropriated the english language. The cover uses the kinetic typography as a metaphor for these ways in which words and phrases have been manipulated, with an illustration of a figure attempting to steal the letter ‘L’, turning Clause into Cause. The cover is a hardback, that uses a bright pinky/red PMS with bold black and white text.
