A bright and cheery cover for a novel about identity and friendship. I collaborated with illustrator Amy Grimes to depict the sunflowers as a motif for the three central characters. They needed to look like they were being taken under one’s wing and coming out of their shells, a sense of shyness and trepidation but also strength.
