About the Designer
Evi O. established her reputation for a strong design aesthetic and collaborative spirit during a decade at Penguin Books, most notably creating award-winning illustrated books in the fields of food, design, interiors, architecture, art, garden and wellness. Her art and design practice ranges across 2D and 3D forms, print and digital, having collaborated with book and magazine publishers, homeware labels, and brands. She practices from her Marrickville studio in Sydney. She is a founding member of ABDA.

Working closely with the T2 in-house team, I had the privilege to go on a tea pilgrimage, living the contents as I was designing. I was given the opportunity to extend T2ss iconic identity and create original images through photography and illustration, making this the most playful and original tea book ever produced. Historical and factual contents are presented through fun, informative design and witty illustrations, turning dry facts into an enjoyable read. The cover features an embossed collage artwork of paper, tea leaves and gold foil. The orange fore-edge is an ode to T2’s brand colour.
