With no budget for embellishments of any kind, we showed our love for this beautiful and haunting tale in the spare composition, haunting posture, apocalyptic palette and delicate and understated typography. It’s hard to point to one thing that makes this design outstanding – it’s the coming together of all those choices that make this design tenderly sophisticated in a genre that prefers to be sensationalistic and exaggerated.
