The brief for this title was to design an arresting and intriguing cover for a female readership aged 16-25. The lettering on the cover at first glance appears flowery and beautiful but on closer inspection is made up of sharp thorns, reflecting one of the central themes of the book: the power of words to create nasty rumours and distort the truth.
